AF.FEM Press is a literary platform created to connect readers to the authentic voices of Women of color writers and artists. We strive to connect people to complex storytelling that depicts intersectionality and authenticity.
AF.FEM was created in 2019 and has gone through the revamp she needed to bring the vision to life. A passion project that has sprouted into this platform. The goal is to create a strong community and an honest depiction of human life. We aim to bring voices shunned within the publishing industry to the forefront to diversify the consumer experience and create a safe space for creativity to grow.

Creator & CEO KaJena . M
It all began with an idea. KaJena.M is a full-time writer/Artist and has dedicated her time and effort to creating AF.FEM. She has a big vision for the future of AF.FEM is so excited to bring new writers to the platform.
KaJena is 26 a Minnesota native and loves animals. She wrote
“ Taste of Cigarette Smoke”, a poetry & Essay book about healing from generational trauma, grief, and parental wounds.
Her goal is to finish all the novels in her drafts and open up a Cafe/bookstore and Publishing press as that is the main goal of AF.FEM Press.
